These stories tapped into my love of surrealistic Black Mirror/Lynchian dark comedy. The direction and misdirection is smooth but…twisted. The shift from panic to hope to the grim reveal is *chef’s kiss*. AneurGasm – Musician
Train Journey Stories of Everyday Life with a Twist…
Have you ever sat and listened to what people talk about when they sit in bars or travel on public transport? Most of it is banal, unfinished sentences talking over each other to get their point across.
But every now and then, someone says something that ignites a thought, then that thought becomes an idea and before you know it a brand-new story is born.
These 14 short stories were sparked from those randomly overheard conversations. Snippets snatched from the chit-chat of strangers, twisted and turned into surreal tales, sometimes dark, sometimes funny.
From a love story about a boy who bursts into flame, to men wanting to add a small element of risk to their dull, ordinary lives.
Genre blending short stories that will make you laugh, cry and question your addiction to coffee.
Compelling writing! You can feel the noose is tightening! Simon Nuttall
Fast, direct, often wry, short stories. Larry Ketang, Film Maker
