Starring Raymond Burr as Captain Lee Quince, Fort Laramie shared many of the same actors, writers, and production staff as Gunsmoke. The program emphasized realism and historical accuracy. Considered one of the greatest radio Westerns, it lasted less than a year, just as Burr was being cast as Perry Mason on TV.

This episode originally aired on May 20, 1956.

Eleştirmen yorumları

"The Indians were portrayed as human beings. The dramas were about life on the Wyoming frontier. Sound effects were done by perfectionists who had also worked on the radio version of Gunsmoke." (Ona L. Hill, Raymond Burr: A Film, Radio and Television Biography)
