If society collapsed, could you survive?

When Morgan Carter’s car breaks down 250 miles from his home, he figures his weekend plans are ruined. But things are about to get much, much worse: the country’s power grid has collapsed. There is no electricity, no running water, no Internet, and no way to know when normalcy will be restored—if it ever will be. An avid survivalist, Morgan takes to the road with his prepper pack on his back.

During the grueling trek from Tallahassee to his home in Lake County, chaos threatens his every step but Morgan is hell-bent on getting home to his wife and daughters—and he’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen.

I've listened to this series 4 times now and am now officially an A. American fan. The story holds together well and the writing is deft and easy to read. The performance is also spot on and I will now actively look for works read by Duke Fontaine.

I keep coming back for more.

theres a very similar story called borrowed world by Frank Holton which is an amazing story. This book is like a temu version of that. Maybe because i listened to a similar story written a lot better that it tainted my view point. I gave this a soild 10 out of 13 hours but just wasnt interested enough to keep listening. I wanted it to be better, but I cant listen to him describe Washing up in detail and not give the same detail to the plot.
i would not waste your single monthly credit on this.
