The history of religious intolerance and political extremism on the far right and left is bloody. Islamic jihadists, crusading fundamentalists, fascists, and Marxists divide the world into believers and heretics. Their propaganda has persuaded followers to torture and slaughter unbelievers. Godless proposes a cure for the pathology of fanatical religious beliefs and political ideologies.
And, the way to live a valuable life based on the wisdom of the Basa Rai in the Nepal Himalayas, Quakers, and the American philosophy of pragmatism is explained and described. The listener will learn how to live a purposeful, productive, and valuable life filled with gratitude for the awesome world we have inherited. A key to living such a valuable life beyond beliefs is understanding that "values unite us, beliefs divide us".
