With no experience in my chosen field, at 25, I started a career that took me into situations and places that were previously unthinkable to me.
To say I would be broadcasting NFL games with the Houston Texans, a college football national championship at Miami, the Final Four at UMass and countless shows from everywhere around the country and world would be a pipe dream. I’ve met two presidents and interviewed everyone from famous athletes to SNL cast members to supermodels. Pinch me.
This book is partly about how I scored jobs as a total long shot. In a couple of cases, Vegas would have put me at 1,000 to 1 to land the gig.
I’ve broken down how it all worked for me and how it can work for you. No two paths are alike but you’ll definitely get some ideas here. You’ll listen about things I and others have done to move ahead and they’ll spark your imagination on how it can work for you.
