Galaxy's Edge, Part II contains Kill Team through to the end of Attack of Shadows.
Legion Dark Ops calls upon Chhun, Wraith, and the survivors of Victory Company to form an elite Kill Team of legionnaires in the aftermath of the Battle of Kublar. Their mission is clear: find and eliminate those responsible for the Kublar disaster.
Standing between them and their objective are a maze of corrupt Republic officials, a spy on the verge of losing himself in deep cover, and the Zhee—a murderous species that will stop at nothing. But the biggest threat of all might be the truth they seek to uncover—a truth that could ignite a revolution. And engulf the galaxy in flames.
Fleets collide in this audiobook in a moment-by-moment account of tactics, heroism, sacrifice, and the start of the final war of the Republic. The stakes have never been higher—and it's winner takes all.

The preceding story is more planet bound, face to face action as the few survivors of Victory company following the disaster that was Kubbar, are recruited to Black Ops, and we are introduced to the whisper of a rumour that was Nether Ops, and a man named Tom.
The characterisations are excellent, with real life, three dimensional people living, dying, laughing, remembering, hurting, fighting and bleeding across the pages. Narrator, A.C.Bray brings everything even more to life with his excellent performance, with well modulated and paced text reading and individually appropriate voices for every protagonist. The perfect symbiosis of narrator and authors' text.
It is for stories like this, there should be an extra super star rating. And for anyone who enjoys intelligent and immaginative military space opera, this is a must read book.
Mark 'em, load 'em and get ready to chew 'em up.

the story with chunn and wraith is made a lot clearer and you need this book i think to make any sense of part 1
the second half was just ok the battle was descriptive but some sequences were so short they were barely worth mentioning, the jumping around in time made it hard to follow who was winning and even harder to care.
it read more like a bullet point synopsis of a history book that gave you the gist but not much else.
im continuing on but i have to say with all the hype around this series i thought it would be better
overall a bit better than 1
