Alexis thought her life contained everything she wanted, until her partner of five years drops a bombshell on her.

Catherine is an accomplished neurosurgeon looking for a fresh start in a new city.

A chance meeting between the two imprints the doctor in Alexis's mind, with thoughts of Catherine pushing to the forefront months after they meet. When life places the pair in the same city, Alexis is unable to deny her attraction to Catherine. As the pair become closer, Alexis finds herself falling for Catherine, despite knowing that her feelings will never be reciprocated. Can the pair navigate through life and maintain their friendship, or does fate have something else in store?

Have not read a Diane Kane novel before but will not be my last.
Great story that had me captivated from first to last word & could not put down.

It was so bad I fiddled with the speed to try and fix it but it then made Alex sound like she'd smoked 5 spliffs before 8 rum and cokes! Good story, great descriptions but terrible voice for Katherine. She sounded high pitched angry the whole way through. Listened to it twice just to see if it was just me but struggled to finish it both times. Real shame as the story was very good and flowed along quite nicely, not at all rushed like some I've read recently

Katherine's narrative is awful!

This is a fantastic beautiful slow burn toaster oven romance, and it's so good.
Being in love has never been so much fun, with a delightful sprinkle of spice that makes this love match very hot. 🔥
Excellent narration. 🎶

FAB.✨

With this book I was slightly confused with it to be honest. The first half of the book was fantastic a lovely romance between the two women. Then the second half came and I was shocked it was all erotic and seemed to leave out the romance. The narration of the book also confused me, as I don’t think it was necessary to have two narrators both reading the same characters, it would have been better if the one narrator stuck to their own character.

Confused

Story was good. Did NOT like the voice of Catherine, liked Catherine’s voice when Alex was talking. Just the one narrator was needed. Can’t listen to the second book, I do not like the narrators voice.

Poor narration for Catherine
