Are we alone? It was only a matter of time before the truth was revealed....

Commander David Bryce is scheduled to lead a routine re-supply run for the Orbital Development Group (ORB) to the fledgling colony on Mars. Without warning, he’s taken away by government agents and told the mission parameters have changed.

They’ve discovered something. And it’s drifting closer to Earth.

Atlas Donovan tirelessly hunts for an artifact, and tracks the piece to Lake Como, Italy. After the recent news from ORB, Atlas is more drawn to the trail than ever. He continues his search, determined to uncover the significance of the strange markings, and more importantly, where the artifacts hail from.

As both Atlas and David draw near to their objectives, they realize a secret organization is working against them; a clandestine force with so much influence, they seem impossible to oppose.

Are we alone?

No, and they’ve been here before....

Ray Porter always narrates well. The story is good. I enjoyed. Give it a go.

Familiar Story, well told

The storyline is very predictable and disjointed to a flaw, big jumps in the storyline . Narration as usual very good.

Disjointed and very clichè

From Beyond is very good mix of Sci-fi, Horror and thriller all rolled into one. Aliens meets Indiana Jones, with a smattering of Event Horizon. Throw in well written characters, a decent plot that doesnt plod along and your left with an impressive start to the series.

Ray Porter is brilliant as always and breathes so much life into the story its rediculous.

Excellent

Eh, it’s okay. It’s a deeply average story of first contact and conspiracies. The aliens aren’t inventive but the descriptions of them are suitably creative and disgusting

My main issue is the pacing. It’s almost like the Beyond III has fast travel enabled because from launch to them encountering the alien craft it’s only a few chapters. The characters are cookie cutter archetypes and the book rushes to its end.

Servicable, by the numbers sci fi
