Four boys are born on the same day the sky goes dark over Jerusalem—an omen most dismiss as rumor… until the world starts to bend around them.
In the violent years immediately following the Crucifixion, a blinded prophet named Malach is cursed with a terrifying vision: four riders who will one day end the world. He is compelled by a war-scarred angel to scour rival kingdoms and find four newborns, each destined to become a Horseman of the Apocalypse.
In Rome's shadow, Marcus (Conquest) learns that victory begins with control. In the hills of Galilee, Shimon (War) discovers battle is a fire that chooses its host. Along the desert trade roads, Waqi (Famine) turns hunger into power, mastering the invisible violence of scarcity. And in the river city of Antioch, Nikandros (Death) grows intimate with the one certainty no empire can defeat.
As riots spark, supplies vanish, and bodies mount, prophecy stops reading like metaphor and starts moving like a plan. Raised into legends who seek peace but fail, these four warriors will die on a Roman battlefield, only to begin a dark cycle of rebirth that will echo through every major war in human history. Because the riders of the apocalypse aren't coming. They're already here.
