Özet

We join Montana, recently returned from an impromptu study abroad trip, a bit wiser, a bit broader in perspective, and a lot freaked out by the once-dead person who's currently in his bedroom.

Possible zombie sightings aside, he's finally ready to take his job as Duke seriously. And just in time too - not only are the politics of the capital rapidly closing in on Montana's little valley holding, but there are also goblins to negotiate with. Plus, that cult threatening to take the lives of his citizens.

Montana will have to pull off the impossible - walk amongst the highest levels of Vuldranni society to influence world politics, and slaughter a few goblins in the process.

All the books are literally the same, self doubts, smash and save the people. Repeat. Annoying, the narrators in the most of this genre, don’t edit put their breaths. Annoying and tiring

Similar, not to overpowered

This is a series in 2 parts, the so called Good Guys and the so called Bad Guys.

As a series this is highly compelling and engaging, the stories are wonderful and the reader helps create a great experience.

Really looking forward to where this goes and supporting both author and reader.

Love this Genre. I find it very easy and amusing to listen too. Story is good, but might be simple to some. Love the narrator too.

Montana still doesn't want to stop acting like an 21st American liberal. Diversity and pointless nerd references leading to dead comedy punchlines was funny for the first couple of books but it gets old, especially when it trails off with him explaining the joke his conversation partners. Montana is a violent maniac, but he's determined to integrate everyone in need into his city. There's a political commentary on migration that is annoying. Montana can't be a grimdark comedy violent thug while being an angelic philanthropist.
