Nowhere is safe. The war rages on in the shadows. A staggering betrayal will prove that no one can be trusted. Lucas, Ophelia, and Elias are on the run, in a chase that spans the far-reaching corners of the globe.
Ophelia remains torn between her two companions. Her powerful gift is advancing at a startling speed and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it.
Lucas uncovers a devastating secret about his mother, while Elias hurries to decipher Alistair’s journals - to find a secure location for the summit that would unite all Pai Ona and turn the tide in the Conduit War.
As events escalate, carefully laid plans begin to spiral out of control, exposing a fierce betrayal. All hope is lost - and all seems to be Forsaken.
Forsaken is the second audiobook in Ashley Hohenstein’s Conduit Chronicles, an urban fantasy series with a taste of romance. If you like Kevin Hearne’s Iron Druid Series and the imaginative writings of Charlaine Harris, then you will love this original series. As you continue the journey into the Conduit world, the stakes are higher, the treachery and loss infinitely more heart-breaking.

I was once again drawn in from the beginning. I love the authors descriptive style. It helps to craft a great world and makes the story even easier to slip into. I’m glad that I listened to the first story first because it set me up for this book. Once again we have a great story, the characters continue to be well portrayed and engaging. I really got invested in them and the story as a whole. After enjoying the first book I made sure I had plenty of time to dive into this one. Really good!
Once again excellent narration. I really enjoy the style and the way it beings the story to life for me with the a voice adding dimension to both the story and the characters.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
Another great book. Awesome story & characters!
