My mortal skin is gone.

I’m one of them—one of the Folk—and all I feel is anger. I’m going to kill the Carlin and her sons for everything they did to me. It’s all I care about.

My life has become yet another game of cat and mouse, but this time, it’s not just the Carlin and her sons trying to get me. New threats lurk and I have to force myself into this new fae skin to be able to fight them.

Forgotten Vows is the second in a MM fae romance trilogy about a dark fae assassin prince and a mortal. It contains mature content.

Right off the bat I’m going to acknowledge that I listened to this entire book in 24 hours. It is so engaging and you *have* to know what happens after the cliffhanger ending of book 1, the writing and plot will fully suck you into the story. Lily truly is a mastermind and I cannot wait to see what comes next in book 3!

A great second book in the series, a wonderful storyline progression with plenty to keep you listening from start to finish and straight on to the third book! Fantastic narration from Joel Leslie.

I’m genuinely sad to have finished this one, but luckily I don’t have to wait to find out what happens next because the next book is already out! Needless to say, I’ll be jumping straight into it. After loving the first book and now this one, I’m completely invested in this world and these characters.

And yes… I’m still thinking about the Oak King. 😂🌳

Both folk books are now my favorite series of all time. I have listened to both 4 times already and am missing Ash and Lonan. I adore Lonan he has so many layers to him and Ash really comes into his own in book 2. End of book one I was screaming shouting and crying! What's even better is that it's read by Joel the best narrator on Audible! He makes Ash, Lonan, Gilly and Newer very much loved Characters.
Where is book 3 please?! I hope the narrator isn't changed for book 3 as another series I loved 9chsnged the narrator and I just couldn't get through the new book.
Unfortunately though I LOVE this writer I just cannot get into her monster series as I don't like American accents on books nor did I like the narrator in general.
