In book one of Nick Denmon's groundbreaking An Upstate New York Mafia Tale series, undercover cop Alex Vaughn goes deeper than ever into the organized crime family of Buffalo, NY. Motivated by justice and revenge, he seeks out the assassin that laid his friend Jack low. Professional killer Rafael Rontego traverses the deadly politics of Buffalo’s mafia underbelly. In a city whose winter can be just as deadly as those wielding power, Rontego tries to stay ahead of the game.

Their two worlds collide in this epic thriller that takes the listener on a search for self, justice, and truth.

Eleştirmen yorumları

Able to compete with Goodfellas, Sopranos, and The Godfather, Nicolas Denmon has created a story that will have you on the edge of your seat, and unable to put it down. -- Big Time Books
A novel of this depth and vision, Nicholas Denmon writes with the maturity and precision of a well-aged author. Whether inside the minds of the men as their lives slowly bleed out or watching precariously while scenes unfold in the disturbing ways the mafia is notorious for, the reader can feel the raw yet emotional toll of the live or die lifestyle. Mafia killers are not known for sloppiness; moreover, they are generally known to be smooth and calculating, which not-so coincidentally describes For Nothing. -- Hodgepodge Galore Book Reviews

There were a lot of characters to keep track of. The end was too cheesy followed by too ridiculous.
