Kenna is a human in a magic-biased world, but a night at the club changes everything.

There she meets four sexy strangers who unbind the magic she never knew she had. Now, she needs their help to train her wild and unpredictable magic and to find the truth of who she really is before someone she loves gets hurt. She is tormented by events in her past, and the secret she has guarded for so long threatens to destroy everything.

This a slow-burn reverse-harem book. This contains scenes and references of abuse some listeners may find triggering.

Story line is ok but the narration is awful. Sorry but not a pleasant listen.

Narration is awful

the story itself is great, a few plot twist. hot and steamy in places. narration is a little off putting as its a little montone. the switch between voices takes some getting used to.

loved the story line.

The book is about a young woman who is searching for the truth about her family and childhood, which she does not remember due to some traumatic experiences in the early part of her life. I enjoyed the series. Sure, there are tough and controversial topics covered, but I didn't find it any more difficult to listen to than other short stories. And FL grows in its role as leader with the support of its men. At the beginning of the story,
the female narrator has a little difficulty switching between different voices, but it gets better as time goes on. I will be buying the next book too as it is exciting to see what happens next.

It is a little slow, but Im glad I stuck with it. Enjoying the storyline, but you do need to get past the female narrators robotic voice. Shame, because I would have enjoyed it much better if it not for that.

This book is setting the scene for the rest and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Liked it alot!
