Özet

We hooked up. I had his baby. He never found out—until now.

Lucca Pixon is the hockey player everyone dreams about being near—and being with. And, yes, I secretly had his baby.

The truth could cost me my career and get him into trouble, too, so the single mom life is how I've been surviving. That is, until I'm given an assignment. It looks like Luc has gotten himself into trouble again, and it's my job to write about it.

The last thing I should do is randomly show up before a hockey game with a baby in a stroller and tell Luc he's the father.

Spoiler alert: that's exactly what I do.

You honestly didn’t deserve the other bad reviews. Its lighthearted tongue in cheek kinda romance story . Yes there’s a cringe worthy moment I didn’t want to listen too .,but well done I laughed out loud a few times.

Lighthearted fun romance

I think overall the story was good but it was silly in places. I hated how they pronounced Isla incorrectly and as she is a big part of the story, I was constantly reminded. I also didn’t like that he called the fmc lover but that’s a personal preference I guess. (Bristol, UK iykyk)
The male narrator was good especially his enthusiasm in the spicy scenes. I’ve heard him on other audio books and would listen again.
I would listen to the next book in the series and I would listen to other books by this author I just don’t think it was the best. Worth a listen as free on audio and good intro in to the series.

I am not sure about it

Sorry couldn’t finish this one the way the narrator says the child’s name was really annoying.

Not the best

this book is just plain stupid. fmc was plain crazy and not the funny kind but the irritating kind. I am sure i killed a few brain cells trying to listen to this. only listen to 30%
