The heat is growing from the inside, but danger is building on the outside. Judge Andrew Phillips runs a tight ship in his courtroom. He's tough, and when he hands down a sentence, he expects to be obeyed. So when a fugitive named Harper escapes and threatens his life, Andrew isn't keen on twenty-four/seven protection… especially not from Deputy Clay Brown. They have a past, one that could cause problems in their careers. But with Clay assigned to Andrew and the two of them together every minute, there's nowhere to hide from their attraction—or from the fact that there's much more than chemistry blooming between them. As the threat intensifies, Clay knows he'll do anything it takes to protect the people who are taking their places in his heart: Andrew and his young niece and nephew.©2018 Dreamspinner Press (P)2018 Dreamspinner Press Contemporary Romantic Suspense Romantik Science Fiction Çağdaş Romantizm Gerilim Samimi Gizem Kurgu

The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Greg Tremblay is one of the narrators, I'm able to listen without problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
