Bob Barker, former game-show host, springs a bear named Ben from bear jail.

Angel, a rescued dog, has a psychic connection with her owner even from 180 miles away.

A therapy horse becomes the only confidante for an abused little girl. These are only a few of the captivating, heartwarming and inspiring true animal rescue stories in Finding a Forever Home.

This book is the result of years of research by the author for the best rescue stories from no-kill, non-profit animal sanctuaries and shelters across America.

Each heroic tale was carefully written to bring the rescue to life.

Okay so negatives first at the beginning I didn't warm to the narrator but by a quarter way through got it and it worked, so well worth listening and I will be looking for more by this narrator now.

The stories dont expect all warm and fuzzy - you are not going to get it.
We have a Romanian rescue dog and he must have been through hell before he came to us, he still has fears of white dogs and boxers (go figure) so it was really interesting to hear the stories. It is not all dogs - the chicken one, oh my goodness.

This is not an easy listen but so recommend.

Oh my goodness - tear jerker
