From best-selling author Lexy Timms comes a billionaire romance murder mystery that'll send your heart racing. Rachel Evans reluctantly steps in to become the vice president of her family's company, Syco Pharmaceuticals, when her father is murdered. After his death, and a sudden rise in billionaires being murdered, Rachel begins to suspect everyone, as does the lead detective assigned to the case.

Detective Adrien Deluca and his partner, Chase Hunters, can't seem to catch a break in the serial billionaire murders. When the case hits too close to home, Deluca steps back to let Chase lead the investigation. As time moves too fast and the evidence too slow, Deluca begins to worry that the girl he's falling for might be the next victim. Can they catch the killer before it's too late, and Rachel ends up the next victim?

This storyline gets better and better the longer it goes on. The suspense that Lexy has written into it is brilliant. I find myself literally sitting at the edge of my seat wanting to know what’s going to happen next. A fabulous performance from Hannah.

Ms. Timms has a very interesting story going here but you don't get the whole book in one book , this ends on a cliffhanger again. but it is a book full of suspense, action and mystery with a bit of romance. I'm really enjoying it but I do wish the whole book came in one installment.
I received a free code for this book from Audiobooks Unleashed to listen to on Audible. this review is my own honest opinion.

Unfortunately I read the blurb to part 4 by accident and it contained spoilers. This meant that some of the story here didn't have the same oomph as the first part. The narration continues to be excellent.
I received a review copy and this is my voluntary opinion.

an intriguing mystery
