Daisy Lane is battling to keep her family together. About to be released from prison, her oldest son Eddie is desperate to escape his past. But Eddie soon discovers that giving up the life of a gangster isn’t going to be easy. Daisy’s youngest son Jamie is determined to step out from under the shadow of his older brother and make a name for himself. And when Jamie gets wind of his brother’s plan to pull off a heist, his involvement threatens to be Eddie’s undoing. Meanwhile, a string of young boys are being abused in Gosport. Daisy vows to find out who’s behind it, but the truth threatens to destroy them all…

The last in what has been a great series, well written and well performed - OK the ending was probably predicable but what the heck don't let that spoil a thoroughly good story.

Excellent

Enjoyed the book. The only thing which I found a bit frustrating was the narration. Annie Aldington is a brilliant narrator. I've listened to many of her books. in this series the accent of the characters changed from earlier novel.

Good book

As someone who lives in Gosport, I loved hearing about Gosport in the 60’s and on wards. I’ve read the complete series more than 5 times. My only criticism would be the word C.U.N.T. being used so much. The Author could write some more books in the series, regarding young Eddie and Summer in their 20’s and 30’s etc.

Fantastic
