This works for audio very well, because the scripts are so strong. Maybe like me you remember the television anyway, so what I found was that as I listened the scenes played out in my mind triggered by the audio.

I laughed out loud many times.

All episodes are here, with introductions by John Cleese

One of the Greatest Comedies of all time

This is the audio from the TV series, a lot of which is quite visual comedy. This version is strategically narrated by Manuel to help with visual elements and some scene changes. I thought that worked rather well. Each episode is introduced with some comments from John Cleese about how the show was written.

As a package, then, it's reasonably well put together and worth considering if you're a fan of the show.

Your mileage may vary but I enjoyed it

The wonderful thing is that the series is as funny In sound as in the side splitting TV series!

What a pleasure to hear!

I used to have all of these on audio tape in my youth and they are just as good 20 years later. some gags do need the visual side aswell but Manuel does a great job of describing what's going on if you happen to have never seen the episodes.

Fawlty perfection.
