A world divided—a goddess united.

After Eunae's tumultuous ascension results in her being crowned queen, Goryeo joins the Jiaguo Empire, splitting the continent in two. Yoshika barely has time to adjust to Eunae joining as another aspect before the sleeping giant of Qin makes their move. Meanwhile, with war looming, Yue must confront her own feelings as she searches for a way to unite the rival empires. Can Yoshika rise to the challenge as a nascent goddess of unity—or will the God-Emperor of Qin prove too much for even her? One way or another, she won't have to face it alone.

Join Yoshika one last time in the epic conclusion to their long and harrowing journey of friendship, love, self-discovery, and magical martial arts.

This series has been great, and the ending to it was just as great, but what really impressed me were the epilogues. Epilogues from the perspectives of multiple characters, giving the reader a glimpse at how their lives are carrying on after the climactic finale. Without any epilogues, I'd have been left unsatisfied by the conclusion, wondering what came next and longing for the series to continue... as I so often am when finishing a series that I really enjoyed.

But the epilogues on this one were perhaps the best I've seen in any book I've ever read (or listened to, as in this case). I'm couldn't ask for more. Perfect ending to the series.

Perfect Epilogues
