When retired detective Frank Marshal believes that a local man’s suicide is suspicious, he and his friend Annie investigate, only to unearth a dark web of conspiracy, government cover-ups and betrayal.

A great story featuring lovely warm characters with lots of age related worries but with loads of wisdom and experience. As well as some really nasty bad guys to rev up the suspence. An excellent recipe for a tale I just couldn't put down.

An exciting story with lots of twists and turns. The final twist was totally unexpected.
