My college roommate is the worst. Cecile steals my food, brings guys over at all hours, and parties instead of studying. But those quirks pale in comparison to what she does next. She drugs me, and I wake up imprisoned in an alternate universe full of terrifying creatures. Now, the biggest and scariest creature of all - a fae king - believes I'm his mate. He's freed me from the dungeon but keeps me close. So close, in fact, that I'm beginning to like his wintery gaze and ice-chiseled body. But secrets and villains lurk throughout this new world, and I don't know if I'll survive long enough to figure out how to get back home.

Author's Note: Fae's Captive is the first book in a series that will set your imagination - and other parts of you - on fire. Mind the cliff, but book two is already out.

This story felt like it wasn't completely finished. Like it was a taster for a publisher and due a couple more chapters to complete. In books that continue a theme, book 1 may leave on a cliffhanger for sure but this was like it stopped in the middle of a battle. I noted reviews on the other books in the series before starting this one as earlier reviews to mine warned me of this. And chapter 9 I think it was repeated itself after 10.

Book felt incomplete in itself

This book ends at the start of a journey and just as the main character is under attack. I can only imagine that the next book is of her survival of the wicked creature and is then going to discovery what is hidden and end before anything is found it ends.

Too short

would love to continue story but not buying 3 hours at a time. Especially when one chapter is repeated. Total rip off. should be a buddle
