My name is Pamela, and I am the strongest witch the world has ever seen. Only I’m not just a witch, I’m an elemental, and that truth makes me a target and a threat.

The elementals of this world are done hiding in the shadows. And there is a faction of them who want to rule our world. They want to put the humans beneath their heels, and they want all the power to themselves. Standing between them and their goal are only two people, two that still hold a connection to Spirit, the key to stopping them. Myself, and my father.

But the elementals we face are no fools. They’ve taken the most precious thing from us both. A child who could be everything they need to force all the elementals to bend a knee. A child whom I’ve always known was special.

They’ve taken Frost.

If I have to break the world again to find him, I will. Because I’m done hiding too. And the elementals had better be ready to play.

This final instalment of Pamela’s story is fantastic! At points I had to re-listen to parts because I couldn’t believe my ears. Shannon totally binds you into the story & Khristine delivers it with feeling. I’m really sad to see this series end.

I did NOT see that coming! Shannon has a great way of writing endings that you can never guess. Anything can happen in her worlds. Pam is a great character and I was hoping she would do her justice. She did not disappoint. I am in love with this ending. It's not your typical happily ever after. It's more... Such a fantastic way to wrap up Pam's story even though there are hints that we'll get some more Thorn in the future.

Really enjoyed this series and so sad this is the last book.
However going off the ending we might be lucky and get a spin off series 🙂

Fabulous end to series.

What a cleverly written story! I didn’t see the ending coming and am always amazed at Ms Mayer’s wonderful writing skills. Twists, turns and tears along the way. Emotional and action packed and Khristine Hvam’s narration is fantastic as always. I loved it!
