At some point, every game has to end.

There must be a winner, and there must be a loser.

There must be victory at all costs.

Behind the cameras, something is shifting. The script is off, and their masks are slipping. The only thing more dangerous than the truth is what they’ll do to keep it hidden, but the walls are closing in and the spotlight is burning brighter than ever. For Isobel and the Alphas, there is nowhere left to hide.

The time for moves and countermoves has come to an end.

The game, finally, has come to an end.

Beware, pretty Icons.

En alakalı

I mean, except hating that this story is over, I really have nothing else to complain about. It’s been a journey for sure, and I got attached to all the characters, so having this end now, it’s just sad.

As for the entire series, the narration was flawless, the story really good, with a bit more spice in this las book than the rest of them, I felt.

One thing I disliked is that the last 30% of the book felt somewhat rushed, it’s like it was running to hit end, and all the conclusions were drawn like a summary and not actually living it, but still, I enjoyed it.
