Friend or Foe?

It certainly wasn't easy to get used to the drastic change in his life, but Lucas seemed to take his new role as the secret protector of Earth and other possible realms rather well. Stuck in his own apartment for most of the time, he ventured into and conquered two dangerous Dungeons. Naturally, it wouldn't have been possible without the incredibly helpful draconic Berserker lady assisting him all the way.

Yet, two will not mark the end, not even close. Lucas and Aisha will need to continue their dangerous expeditions if they want to stay alive and grow stronger. There is no time for rest when the world is in danger. Though, besides their newly recruited companion, they might finally have a chance to work alongside the other Defenders.

But, are they sure that's a good thing?

fantastic

a great setup for a world - people acting as guardians against invading dungeons and becoming real life adventurers.

the story is paced well and the sense of progression is really well done, especially as the main character adapta his worlds tech to the situation (3d printing spells and using a phone to map a dungeon is brilliant!) and shows a good use of blending the worlds.

the only issue I have is the author seems to not get some phrases, or perhaps English is a second language - they throw things off a little as the terms just feel a little off. I also feel they don't get enough "time off" between dungeons! hardly any time to do proper vacation stuff! aside from that the overall story holds together well and I look forward to seeing the universe expand.

fantastic narration and setting
