The tutorial isn’t over yet....

The system isn’t done with Drake, pushing him and the other participants beyond limits they never knew existed.

Killing monsters, surviving ambushes, and leveling up have become routine as Drake fights his way to the tutorial's end.

But what awaits beyond the final trial? What kind of world will he step into? And what kind of power will the system grant to those who survive?

One thing is certain—there’s no going back.

Survive, adapt, and level up once more in this LitRPG Adventure as Drake and his party battle through a deadly landscape that will shape their future.

Narration improves from the last book, but MC emotionally flip flops like a child having tantrums. Supporting characters lose any personality and become doting followers. Especially bad for all of the female characters. It's a no from me.

A bit of a mess

good fun story, nothing ground breaking or revolutionary but a solid book all the same. narrators were good and immersive but it did go from too quiet to too loud quite often

good fun story, warning quite a lot of SA reference but no detail

The narrator keeps up the good performance.

The story however takes a nosedive. What little reasoning was left in the characters from the first book, goes out the window in this one. It is as if every single character turns into a preteen mid-tantrum. All females with any level of relevance to the story suddenly get the hots for the MC - feelings go from 0-100 in no time. The exception is the comedy relief side characters that continue to make the listener chuckle. The MC still has several entertaining references but the interactions with other characters doesn't make much sense.

Overall there are a few interesting scenes that I wont spoil but generally both the story and the characters lose depth compared to the first one. It still has fun characters and scenes but it is a downgrade from the first book.

Not a good sequel

thoroughly enjoyable book and can't wait for book three to come out on Audible I've already read it on Kindle it was a great one just can't wait to hear the narrators talk in the characters voices

Great story

If you don’t watch anime, you will struggle with some of the quotes it’s a bit childish, but I didn’t mind it. It does want to be prime Hunter so bad lol

It’s ok worth a listen to
