The Universe is a bloody mess. Time to put on your cleaning gloves.

During a routine arrest, Van discovers a stolen spacecraft, its importance far greater than it first appears. Fast, sleek, and beautiful, the ship is a cultural relic from Linulla’s people, and returning their property will set off a chain of events that reveals a new adversary.

Rising in the ranks, Van’s confrontation with a pirate leader isn’t just a case of theft, but something far more sinister. And Van’s going to take this case personally.

He and his crew will chase the Salt Thieves and their leader in a game that can only have one winner. Will Van rise to the challenge? Can Icky control her temper? Will Perry make Icky wear pants? The answers are more complicated than they seem, and far more dangerous, for that matter, than anything Van has ever done before. But he’s got a new edge on the Moonsword, a new rank, and a new crew as he takes his Dragon to the stars with one thing in mind...justice.

Good Book but a terrible English Geordie accent.😀 looking forward to the next book in the series.

Funny

I just found the Wiki for the series and it demonstrates just how much creativity has gone into constructing these worlds. The characters get better and so far the series avoids repetitive elements by combining new elements with existing characters in a skilful and endlessly funny way.

Genuinely laugh out loud at some bits and get caught up with the action and narrative. Can hardly wait for the next episode- dreading when I overtake the production of Audible versions - I think up to book 11 has been done so fast approaching the day!

Love the performance and the narrative - so thank you!

Fun and charismatic characters who get better

Bit predictable but good fun nevertheless! The first book was the best but still a great light read.

it's a bureaucratic experience of life in space as space cop's with alien friends that can make death beans and weapons that can eviscerate the entire fleet and an ikiy that will Fump lightly but it's up to you which one would be worse. There will be scenes where you cannot wait till you hear the next words and then when you're on your back because a robot bird yeets himself out of a situation. They may be moist situation and we all know what that entails.

I give it a 9.9/10 I will give it 0.1 when I finally get a decorating scene of the Iowa.
As from the mouth of van himself This is holy shit.

Another thrilling entry into the story of Dan

Im totally hooked on these books right now. I've listened to 6 in 2 months. They are a great mix of action and comedy through sarcasm. Really great writing
