Welcome to Hopkins Bend, the remote little Tennessee town where the backwoods inhabitants are cannibals and the local law operates a sex-trafficking ring. Unlucky travelers are frequently ensnared in the town’s sinister web. Some are held captive and tortured while others face even more gruesome fates. And beneath it all is the town’s darkest secret, the curse of the depraved and mutated Kincher clan.

Includes Depraved II: The In-Between-Quel, a short story that reveals the grisly fate of two characters from the novel. The story is as spectacularly gory as the novel itself.

It’s taken me a lot of attempts to find a book with the right amount of gore and a good pace of story. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys that type of thing. It’s a definite 5 stars from me!

Both story and narrater were great!

The story itself is okay. Lots of gore and disturbing scenes. I liked some of the characters storylines more than others.
A bit too much sexual assault and an overuse of swearing but overall worth a listen/read if you’re into disturbing books.
The narrator is absolutely amazing. The changes in her voice between characters really added to the whole experience. I loved being able to tell who’s chapter it was in the first few seconds of her voice. Such a talent. Will definitely seek out over books she’s narrated!

Amazing Narrator, Okay Story!

I came across this tithe by accident . It appeared to be different to my usual reads so I took the plunge .
It is well written and fast paced, I loved the whole concept . The narrator did a great job with all the characters. I hope Audible will drop the rest of the series so I can continue this journey .

Loved it

Takes ages to get anywhere and nothing exciting happens at all. Constantly waiting for something to happen and it’s just super mild

Boring
