In a world where darkness lurks, one girl's fate will shatter centuries of stagnation.

Elania's life takes an unexpected turn when demon-worshiping cultists summon her to their world, aiming to revive their dead god. When their hated foe strikes, she escapes into Eladu's darkest depths.

Amidst savage predators and underground monsters, Elania discovers her newfound abilities are both a formidable ally and a haunting burden that threatens to reshape her very soul.

To climb higher towards civilization means she must contend with anti-demon sentiment and those who would use her as a source of arcane power. But Elania is not alone in her struggles.

Yolani, an arcane artificer, battles a sinister plot and finds her fate inexplicably linked to Elania's. Together, they might just be the key to each other's survival.

Only one thing is certain: Elania isn't going to give up who she is without a fight.

It’s a fun listen, starts of a bit slowly in my opinion but overall I loved it :)

Good book

I rather enjoyed this story. It uses a few common genra tropes and executes them well. The leveling system boggled the protagonist and myself. Hopefully that gets a bit more explained in the next book. Speaking of, the romance between the demoness and her artificer goes nowhere. She just pines after her and says nothing, even in the epilogue.

Quite Enjoyable

First 2/3 were quite good. Comedy was quite enjoyable and I like isekai protagonists that are both enjoyable, unique and work for their power or at least make the OPness enjoyable. Not to mention the world and lore are quite intriguing as well.

That said, the last 3rd seemed kind of rushed, the two heroines barely spent any time together and suddenly decided they die for each other, kinda hit outta nowhere and we really didn't need the epilogues and could have saved them for the next book.

Almost perfect

I really liked how the pace is set, the changes in scenery and the many encounters with other people. To many of similar books get stuck with a grinding protagonist that is alone the majority of the story. After a few chapters, the second protagonist is introduced and the story jumps between them from time to time but never to long. The way it is done is also not intrusive and only adds to the story, as they converge after a while.

Cool system with deep characters

It’s a fun read, but some of the decisions and observations of the MC had me pulling my hair out…

Common sense has left the room, than flew off to space.
