Matthew is the first human wizard to possess the true heritage of the Illeniels, a secret gift no one fully understands. Alone, he travels to another world, seeking the source of their mysterious enemies. There he will discover the origin of their ancient foe, the mysteries of the past, and possibly the future of humankind.

If he can survive long enough.

In a land beyond death and suffering, he finds the true source of evil, within the heart of humanity, and their newest creation. In the search for knowledge, some doors, once opened, can never be closed.

I thought the book was okay, but with so many in my wish list I was left feeling that maybe I should have listened to something else. If you really need something to listen to, give it a go.

It was okay...

I don't know how to say this correctly, but the third book it's as if It's not part of this series. It's not bad written(as a lone book) but as the 3rd in a series, after all the struggles, the character development, and adventures... the MC is no more than a filler. I don't remember clearly if I finished this book or dropped it mid way, but compared to the second book which had just a few holes in the plot, this would need a total revision. I'm very sad for what it could have been and it isn't. Truly.

Dissapointing
