I’m the one she should have stayed away from. The thief, the hustler, the boy without a past or a future. A kid forged by the rules of the streets.

She sees into my darkest depths and doesn’t blink an eye. She’s my dream, my peace from a place I can never escape. Then one day, she’s gone, whisked into a world I refuse to taint with my touch.

Fifteen years later, she’s back in my life, needing a favor only I can provide. The street rat she once knew is now king of an empire, where every favor comes at a price.

A price, she says, she is more than willing to pay. But the cost is all of her...body, mind, and soul.

Suspense, intrigue, romance, this book has it all. My first listen by Sienna Snow and I am hooked! This is the first story in her Street Kings series and features Nikhil and Danika. These two were childhood friends, Nik always looking out for Dani. Dani was pulled away and now years later, they are brought back together. But will their childhood attraction still be there? Does Dani need protecting? And where will it leave them? Let's talk characters. Nik(hil) is such the alpha male. I love that about him, but also love how he melts around his "Rabbit". Dani is incredibly independent, smart and beautiful. I love her secretive career, her ability to stand up for herself but unable to keep away from her "Hil". Passionate, sensual, thrilling and a wonderful start to the series, if you like romantic suspense, this story is for you!

Chance Smoulders is a new to me narrator and all I can say is WOW! He delves into Nik and creates that protectiveness that envelopes the listener! Matched with the talent of Simone Lewis as Dani, he brings it! Lewis comes through with Dani as the strong, confident woman she is. I love her undertone of vulnerability when she is near Nik. These two are perfectly cast and work well together. It was an enjoyable listen.

Romantic Suspense!

It's definitely a very steamy read. It's also full of mystery and intrigue. It has enough scandal to keep you on edge. I am so happy that I found this book and can't wait for the rest of the series!

Dangerous King by Sienna Snow is a romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Chance Smolders and Simone Lewis. This is the first book in the Street Kings series.

This is the first book of Sienna's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Danika and Nik. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Vicious Prince to be released on August 19, 2021 so I can get Jayna and Kiran's story.

Chance and Simone did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romantic suspense or contemporary romance.

I was really gripped by this edge of the seat romance. The first book in the Street Kings series while giving a full story,  leaves the reader / listener with so much  left to learn. I would go as far as to say, I need to know more and cannot wait to see when the story goes from here.

I liked the mixes of races and the strong characters who all have their secrets. I can easily say that I loathed Danika's uncle. I thought Danika's edgy, intelligent, powerful, and sensual character was fantastic and the wonderful description's provided by Sienna Snow has me fanning my face over Nikhil. Strong, handsome, intelligent and dangerous, his strength as the male main character  to match the wonderful Danika.

The fast pace and complex plot kept me on my toes and my imagination running a movie reel through my head.

Both Chance Smolders and Simone Chance did a great job with narrating Dangerous King. Each character had a recognizable voice. The attitudes and personalities came across from start to finish and the intensity of the story was delivered in believable performances.

Dangerous King is my first Sienna Snow novel and I loved it. I loved the fact that this novel reference my home country Trinidad and Tobago and some aspects of the culture was interwoven into the story, as that's not something I've ever found in a romance novel. I loved the story, it as romantic, steamy, sweet with a dash of action and suspense and filled with secrets and lies and some unexpected twists that all had me hooked until the end. I loved the characters. Danika and Nikhil were likable, fascinating characters with amazing chemistry. Nik was a dangerous man in his own right but I loved that Danika could hold her own. In addition the author went on to include to some secondary characters who all caught my attention and consumed my thoughts and I can't wait for the other books in the series to get their stories. The story ended in a non-traditional cliff-hanger where there were lots of questions still to be answered which I suspect will come in the other novels. This story was just the beginning and I can't wait for more. I would highly recommend this novel to romance lovers.
The audible version was narrated by Chance Smolders and Simone Lewis. This was my first time listening to these two narrators. I thought they did a good job giving the characters their own voices. Their speech was clear and understandable and it was a pleasure listening to them bring the story to life. TheFlock AudiobookObsession
