A CD edition of this popular Christie mystery. Read by Hugh Fraser, Captain Hastings in the popular TV series.

The house guests at Styles seemed perfectly pleasant to Captain Hastings; there was his own daughter Judith, an inoffensive ornithologist called Norton, dashing Mr Allerton, brittle Miss Cole, Doctor Franklin and his fragile wife Barbara , Nurse Craven, Colonel Luttrell and his charming wife, Daisy, and the charismatic Boyd-Carrington.

So Hastings was shocked to learn from Hercule Poirot’s declaration that one of them was a five-times murderer. True, the ageing detective was crippled with arthritis, but had his deductive instincts finally deserted him?…

This is a fantastic book. The best thought out story, the best characters, the best twists, and an end you mustn't miss out on.

How clever Agatha was. And to finish like this.....wow.

Buy it, you will not be disappointed.

A clever piece of writing. Not too many characters so it is easy to follow. A contained story as it all happens in one place more or less.

I absolutely loved it. You will too.

Fantastic

unlike conan doyle, agatha has laid her fictional Detective Hercle to a permanant Heavenly home. there will never be annother Hercule.

Holmes resurrected.

I liked this because the villain used subtle manipulation on his victims. The TV version is excellent because you see Poirot confronting the villain which is missing from the audiobook (unless I missed it).

my favourite Poirot story

Brilliant. Loved every part of this book. The setting. The premise. The finale. Recommend to all, fans or not.

The perfect final story

After years of listening to all of the other Poirot stories, I could never bring myself to listen to Curtain, knowing that it would be Poirot’s final case. I’d seen the wonderful David Suchet version, so I knew and loved the story line already, but there was something particularly poignant about this audiobook. Fabulous performance as ever by Hugh Fraser, and utterly spellbinding storytelling from the incomparable Agatha Christie.

Finally finished
