Henry is a middle-aged, happily married man in the 20th century. After suffering a sudden heart attack, Henry finds himself in the unknown realm of the afterlife. Lost, alone, and confused, he meets Croton. As they embark on their journey together, Croton opens Henry’s eyes to all the beauty of his new reality and all the exploring that awaits him. But not everything is sunshine and rainbows. Henry eventually learns who Croton really is—and that’s when their adventure truly begins.

Story is a story. The concepts are familiar to those with a mind open enough to accept spirituality. The put on voice of croton was just so annoying. Sounds like a young person trying to sound like an older wiser person. It did not work, it just comes across as pretentious and unprofessional. Hence the 1 star for performance. Story concepts are similar to the film “What Dreams may Come”.
The second book might be worth checking out but if I do, it won’t be in the audio version due to the annoyance of the way this reader interpreted the voice of Croton.

Worth reading, interesting concepts shame about the vocal performance.

I really enjoyed this book. The journey I’m going through now and my transition it couldn’t be more fitting to this book. I came across the author on Instagram. Felt a true connection to him saw this book and thought why not give it a go at the same time as beginning my Reiki practice. If it teaches you anything it teaches you love will always win. Thank you for a wonderful book. I look forward to reading number two!
