Crossroads by Devney Perry was quite wholesome and also really easy to listen to. Not super dramatic, but enough to get you invested in their relationship and everything that’s happening with the ranch. The casts were all lovable too, and I really appreciate that epilogue! As for the narration, I loved it. Both VAs did well in bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend!

I didn't want the book to end, it was incredible! I loved West and Indya. It was a heartbreakingly beautiful story and made me ball like a baby in parts. I can't wait for Jax's story!

Great story

I accidentally read this series out of order, so I had to wait quite a while before coming back to Crossroads. I'm glad I did, because West and Indya's story was such a lovely way to properly start the series. Devney's writing is always a pleasure to read, and this was no exception.

West and Indya spent a week together almost every summer as they grew up, and I really liked that we get to experience those visits throughout the book. Seeing their relationship develop over the years added so much depth to their connection, and it was easy to see why neither of them ever completely forgot the other.

Of course, life gets more complicated as they get older, and there are plenty of obstacles standing between them. I liked how their past unfolded alongside the present-day story. Watching them finally work through everything and get the future they'd both deserved was incredibly satisfying.

Now that enough time has passed, I'm looking forward to continuing my reread with Jax's story, although my ageing brain has forgotten enough of it that it'll probably feel like reading it for the first time again!

Loved this story - went in without even reading the blurb so had no idea what to expect. I flipped between Audible and Kindle, though mainly Audible because I LOVED the narrators. The accents, the intonation - all spot on.
