Most people run away from ferocious beasts, not headlong into their beds…

Threatened with an arranged marriage to a cruel lord who despises him, Aster claims the protection of the one man no one will dare to challenge: Sir Corin, disgraced dragon knight…and the man Aster's sister betrayed so publicly that he fled the court for a gloomy, isolated mountain hideaway.

But Aster didn't plan to be stranded there with one bed between them—or to give in to years of longing and beg for the monster's forbidden touch.

Corin's no one's hero, not anymore—especially Aster's. But when a royal decree makes Aster the prize for any predatory knight who can defeat him in single combat, Corin can't seem to let him go, even though he knows the price for keeping Aster forever is more than he's willing to pay…

This spicy, steamy, M/M paranormal fantasy romance features a pair of star-crossed opposites, some silliness involving a lack of pants at unexpected moments, plenty of dirty talk, and knotting (but no mpreg). HEA guaranteed.

Corin is a legendary knight and also a dragon. He has spent 2 years hiding from the court after a disastrously broken engagement, sulking in an isolated mountain keep. One day his ex-fiancée's uninteresting little brother arrives, begging for refuge after his own betrothal-related disaster. Corin realises Aster is actually not so uninteresting, and also that spending two years on his own has made him extremely susceptible to his charms. In spite of their newly discovered compatibility, they both have some complications to deal with, not least of which is the unexpected intervention of the king..
The result is a sweet, smutty, fun romp that is perfectly delivered by Greg Boudreaux, taking it to the next level by bringing out the characters beautifully. If there's a prize out there for voicing horny dragon-growls, I hope he wins it. Heartily recommended if you like a goodhearted-yet-filthy light read.

HOLLY MOLLY, I LOVED this book!
It was amazing and I loved everything! The first half of the book was more s€x-centric-and the s€x scenes were H-O-T-; the second half was more plot-centric-plot that I enjoyed. So Sure, I wouldn't have minded having the s€x and plot more sprent out and better mixed together so it didn't feel like 2 separated partes. But it's just nickpicking.

Btw, Greg was amazing as always!

LOVED 😍

This book was such an annoying listen. The authors writing style depends on A LOT of waffling narrative exposition to pad the chapters. I don't think even a line of dialogue was said without a chunk of description/emotion/backstory tagged on. This meant that the chapters dragged out. Even a simple act, like Corrin carrying Aster to bed took forever, and conversation was interminable because everyone observation, thought and feeling was pointed out. I cannot fault the narration. I just pitty the narrator for having to narrate this.

I disliked the style of writing SO MUCH!
