The philosopher asks: "Faced with the mutually exclusive choice between moral principle and the survival of your family, which is the correct path?"

Philosophers love to pose such questions, and in the day-to-day struggle, such thinkers rarely attain to a level of relevance rivaling that of the simple hunger pang. Their careful considerations dissipate under the leveled gun.

We do not feel their disapproving gaze when The Others draw near.

When the world sends doom, the survivors do not hesitate.

The survivors do what is necessary.

A really good listen. RC Bray as fantastic as ever. This book brings in very new material that I was not expecting. The characters really develop in this book. Only thing, definitely give yourself a refresher.

Another great listen

This whole series was amazing! Having read the first 3 books I was on the edge of my seat for number 4 and rightly so. The book is full of tension and drama and I literally couldn't wait to listen to the next bit to find out what was going to happen. I really cared about the characters after 4 books worth of them, and I was pretty gutted when it was all over. The sign of an amazing book when you genuinely feel like you are grieving when it all ends!

this should be made into a movie series . I was hooked after the first few chapters of the first book. ☺

I think this, out of all the books winds a much darker road to the reality that is the post apocalyptic world this is set in.

Dark

Good story, but not fantastic - more....casually entertaining. I got a touch restless on the sentimental parts, and felt the story would have been better without them. Generally, though, an entertaining tale.

RC Bray is Epic, story is a little bit sentimental
