She's lost everything, except her life...

Lieutenant Lorraine Page once had everything - a devoted husband, two beautiful daughters and an impressive career with the Homicide Squad. It's impossible to believe that she could be thrown out of the police force and end up on Skid Row.

Without Lorraine, her colleagues struggle on, as the hunt for a nightmare serial killer spirals into an all-out search for a missing witness: a victim who escaped.

But Lorraine Page is about to be brought right back into that world again. Against her will she is drawn into the investigation, and forced to face her past and her overwhelming guilt...

Based on a true story, the complete and unabridged Lorraine Page trilogy available for the first time in audio! Crime Thrillers Mystery Private Investigators Suspense Thriller & Suspense Women Sleuths Suç Kurgu Gerilim

Enjoyed the story apart from very bad language ( not really needed)
The narrators voice was very irritating.

worth a read.....

Oh my! Story okay but the narrator is awful at some character voices. “Rooney” speaks/shouts as if he’s on army parade with someone holding his testicles and “Rosie” squawks like Janice from Friends. Several times I had to turn volume down when these characters were shouting/squawking.

Awful grating voice

Excellent plot but almost abandoned because of the narrator. Do people really speak like this? Will read the next two in the series rather than listen to them. Disappointed,

Lynda La Plante has once again exceeded my expectations with a book which is so brilliant I couldn't stop listening to.
it was written a while ago, I honestly don't know how I missed reading it when it came out.
I thought The Widows was good but this is on par or better.
Lynda what a brilliant writer you are. thank you so much for writing this book, I look forward to hearing the next two in the trilogy.
audible please put all of Lynda's work on your site.
I recommend this book. The narrator is brilliant too.
