Mimi Clark was never going to win the most popular student award. The prolific tattletale seemed to cruise through university life, seeking out rule-breakers so she could bring their sins to the dean’s attention. She probably never thought she’d be murdered for her favorite pastime. Detective Casey certainly didn’t think her daughter, Audrey, would become the prime suspect.

With Casey sidelined from the investigation and feeling helpless to protect Audrey, she hires Swamp Team 3 to investigate, but the case has enough suspects to fill a stadium. Fortune has to sort them out quickly and find a killer before the ADA makes a move that could ruin Audrey’s bright future.

…and neither does Fortune! With the exception of Gertie’s shenanigans, this was a straightforward whodunnit!

But when you throw in camels, dynamite and Twinkie’s, well… 😆

A Good Story! Gertie Never Fails!

I had to keep going back and forward to check who was who in this one. I love this series for the humour, but this story was definitely lacking fun. The scene with the animals was hilarious, but it was the only time I thought that and this emphasised the lack of humour that is the hallmark of the series. I will still read the next book, the series might be passed its best.

Not as good as the earlier books in the series.

The characters will charm and entertain you throughout their adventures. By the end you will have been moved, amused and left impatient for their next adventure.

A fortunate find!

I love the light heartedly and easy flow of the story. I love the comedy element and I love the clever plot.

Always love it

I was ok I think I’m getting a bit bored with tfw stories. Maybe it’s time to look for something new.

Not bad
