A Wall Street Journal and Amazon Charts bestseller.

All defenses are down in the fifth Ace Security novel from New York Times bestselling author Susan Stoker.

Sarah Butler isn’t flattered. She’s angry and unnerved. She’s been getting intimate gifts from a man she barely knows. Nothing threatening yet, but there’s just a weird vibe she can’t ignore. Her recourse is Ace Security. Their solution: self-defense lessons at Rock Hard Gym with a personal, hands-on instructor. One look at the bearded, tattooed, green-eyed alpha is enough to take Sarah’s breath away.

Cole Johnson is definitely the man for the job. He’s eager to train her. Eager to get closer. And when it comes to Sarah’s instincts, Cole knows she’s not imagining things. He’s also not imagining the intense attraction between them - and his desire to protect her is growing. But so are Sarah’s fears, the worst of which come true when she disappears.

Enlisting the help of Ace Security, Cole will stop at nothing to find the love of his life...before she vanishes forever.

But can they find her stalker and keep her safe or is he destined to loose her before he can claim her? Cole knows as soon as he speaks to her, she is his, the one he has been waiting for, but he knows she is not ready for him and although she already owns his heart he must wait for hers. She may be strong and determined but Sarah doesn't feel safe and the fear is taking over her life, until she meets Cole. Suddenly she can breathe again, laugh, hope and begin to fall in love....but he is always there, a shadow in her thoughts, until he finally makes his move. Cole may be rough around the edges but he can sweep me off my feet any day....every day! I am sad this is the final book of the series but it reminds me just how much we love the growly Alpha's of Ace Security and their feisty, sassy women, I will definitely go back to read this series again and get my Ace fix! They are all available on Kindle Unlimited and Audible, so why wouldn't you?

She is everything he has been waiting for!

A fantastic last book in this series, bittersweet, as I loved each and every one of the characters for different reasons. The humour is constant, the interactions between the friends and brothers kept me smiling and grinning throughout, there is suspense and lots of hot and steamy scenes. The epilogue brings all 5 books to a swoony closure, I just didn't want it to end, sigh. The narrator did an excellent job and pulled me into the story and kept me there.

Loved it! Shame it is the end of this series

I'm a big fan of SS and, while not her best, this is still a solid and thoroughly enjoyable finish to the Ace Security series. Cole is a great hero and I also liked Sarah, although she's a bit too perfect to be true. The danger Sarah is in turns out to be very different from any previous stories and I liked how it was resolved.

One thing that annoyed me a great deal was that SS seems to have forgotten the sequence of events in Saving Felicity, as there are several references to Felicity being taken and needing to be found. If you've read/heard that story, you'll know that isn't how it played out!

EB's narration is good, but not great.

Another enjoyable story

I love this book most out of all the series which is strange to say I think of it as a lovely added little extra to the main series - Cole not being one of the brothers.

An engaging storyline where Sarah needs help and approaches Cole to give her the physical tools needed to defend herself. She gets way more than that and Cole finds himself way more intertwined in this relationship than he expected.

I love their “meet-cute” and how the story progresses

I liked how the narrator brought the real emotions of this story to life, and carried you along the journey with them.

An absolute gem of a read/listen and I loved it was included within the kindle unlimited package as an audiobook too.

Cole and Sarah’s story concludes what has been an actioned packed series with seriously hot action with hot couples. You do think that by the time you get to book five what else can befell the lead female character that she requires her male lead’s protection. Whereas we interacted with the main baddies in the previous books I felt Ms Stoker ran out of ideas for a baddie in this book which came across to me as pretty weak and lacked believability. Erin Bennett’s narration gets 5⭐️, the story overall gets 3 🌟

Not quite! 😏
