I listened to this in August. I bet it’s even better over Christmas so I’ll be listening again. JW has the gift to get you thinking laterally and only good can come of it. The recipes are a bonus and it really does feel like she’s there in the kitchen with you. Thank you once again JW for another good book.

What a treat! The wonderful Jeanette Winterson chatting to me! This is how this book feels, personal stories, discussing food and recipes and imparting some touching advice. Interspersed with short unfaltering Christmasy stories. You'll laugh, gasp, be slightly sad, but you will feel overwhelming seasonal!

I loved absolutely everything about this book. The perfect pre-Christmas listen for me. Great stories and festive feast interludes and all beautifully narrated by Jeanette and Imogen. This really resonated with me and I will be listening again and again at future Christmas times. Favourite Christmas book ever !
