The British underworld is controlled by gangs. When two of them start a turf war, violence explodes on to the streets. The police need information fast, and James Adams has the contacts to infiltrate the most dangerous gang of all.
He works for Cherub. Cherubs are trained professionals, aged between 10 and 17. They exist because criminals never suspect that kids are spying on them. For official purposes, these children do not exist.

As always a writer can't know all tactics and how weapons work so there are some technical mistakes, but the story is flawless.
Norman Large story is evolving.
Kyle has his final year in CHERUB.
James and Bruce gets added on to an ongoing anti gang crime operation after a CHERUB agent gets stabbed and James has an inn to the gang "Mad Dogs" from a previous mission.
The pase is fast and unrelenting and explores both teenage morality and decision making.
A strong contender
