I really enjoyed this. I would have loved to have heard from Dane’s point of view as well as Laia’s. It had great FMC (not whiny) and MMC (morally grey). Loved their banter and relationship (enemies to lovers). Good spice. Quite lighthearted to what I usually read but I like that now and again. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will look at the author’s other work.

This was such a delight! Leah was a wonderful FMC. She's strong without too much snark and kind without being a pushover. Dain is a big growly cinnamon roll who just wants to be loved. Any the YEARNING. Swoon.

Monster rance done right

The story was a bit slow but eloquently written and narrated. A lot of imagination was needed for the male character and the Fae court/world. But it wasn’t too complicated a tale, if you like romantasy this is a nice story but doesn’t rock your world.

Quite interesting story, well written. A lot of similar stories have this annoying mfc who’s constantly complaining and “suffering” in hate for what mmc done - but this book seems well-balanced, I don’t feel like overwhelm with mfc issues lol

Great narration, lovely details. Bit of an abrupt start but story didn’t zoom off too quickly. It wraps up all the loose ends nicely. Loved it.
