Profits. Coffee. Extortion. All in a day's work.

When Ishmael takes the Chernyakova back into Toe-Hold space, he finds a lot more than profit. A quick pass through the Telluride system reveals the answer to one question but leaves him docked without a cargo until the owner of Dark Knight Station makes him an offer he can't refuse.

absolutely love this series, well written. although I enjoyed this book and the preceding 2 I still struggle with matching the voice to Ishmail. this is not a dig at the narrator ,who read it perfectly, but I think I would have like to hear Nathan's reading.
his tones and inflections really made the character stand out.

brilliant story

I have gotten to know Ishmael Wang since his days on the Solar Clipper. So take my 5 stars with a grain of salt. Are these the best books ever written? No. Do I like the characters and want to see where there story goes. Absolutely yes. Do I like Nathan Lowel's specific writing style. Absolutely yes. This is also not a story about Captain Kirk or Picard. This is an earther turned spacer just trying to live his life and do his job to the best of his ability. I love every minute of it.

Not Captain Kirk or Picard in a very good way

Captain Wong and his crew are off on another adventure.

A brilliantly thought provoking book.

Another fantastic trip in to the deep dark
