In the second Rogue Vows novella, the town of Solitude, Oregon, will learn that good TV makes for terrible reality.

When Chase Ryan, a popular crime TV star, turns up dead, the entire town of Solitude is shaken - but the show isn't over yet. The confessed murderer is violently abducted on the way to the county jail, and now Detective Seth Harding must find both the killer and the kidnapper.

Seth's investigation unearths unsavory secrets from the celebrity's life that incriminate a cast of suspects: Chase's family, his sleazy agent, and a fanatical stalker with a troubled thirteen-year-old daughter. When that same teen disappears from her temporary foster home, Seth's wife, social worker Carly Taylor, is drawn into the search.

Dodging paparazzi and peril, Seth and Carly track the girl. But as they get closer to uncovering the truth, the abductor sets the stage for a chilling finale....

Great 2nd novella in this set from the Rogue River series. Really love how these authors intertwine and looking forward to the final two Justice books….

Excellent 2nd in set!

Good little novella which was well told and had a few of Melindas little twists and no hero /heroine danger spots. Classically simple and that's what I like about this author. A little too many I love you's this time, for my liking , but so what !!!

Someone is playing with fire

I really fell for Seth in this book, he was good in the previous books but here he will sweep you off your feet repeatedly with his rescues, his determination and finally his understanding of Carly's job and her drive.
I love this series, Seth, Carly, Zane, Stevie and all the support cast of Solitude!
I listened to this on Audible with Kindle Unlimited.

This was an enjoyable story short and sweet and concludes a plot in this series. The characters were brought to life via Kate Rudd’s superb narration.

Enjoyable
