Loyalty. Respect. Wit. Aggression. Heart.

Each word describes the Slater brothers and how they were molded into the men they are today...but what did it take to get them where they are?

Pain. Disregard. Fear. Anger. Love.

Peeling back each layer to find the brothers’ core means looking at their past to see how they got their future, from overcoming family feuds and breaking a warlord's hold on them to moving to another country and finding women who make their world spin.

The Slater brothers idolize their women, and what the Slater brothers idolize, the Slater brothers guard.

I really enjoyed the whole series, and this book just brought them all together. Yes there are moments when it seems to repeat but that's because I listened to them all and actually it works because it answers any questions that are left. Loved the brothers and the girls and it's nice to see where they ended up. A great listen.

ties up all the loose ends...

Loved this story just wished they didn’t recap on previous books as much, lived the bits I’d the earlier days the boys went through but I wish / hope they had concentrated on the now or if this was last book in the series on the future when all the children had grown up. Fingers x more to come in this series absolutely loved it.
