If you like to be scared, or even just mildly amused, this is a great listen. A tour of the UK featuring each area's haunted roads and byways. Well narrated with some good local accents, but one minor niggle in that the narrator has a slightly hesitant delivery, pausing in unexpected places which throws the rhythm of the narration. Hence the 1 star deduction.

I found the narrator,s voice very irritating, spoiled the book which was a pity as the stories were quite good

all joking about the Alan partridge -esque delivery, this was an enjoyable and relaxing listen.
it's not an investigation and it's mostly short descriptions of local ghost tales peppered with a few tales- very nice and will pique your interest in local history.
