A classic from the master of British Horror

Deep in the dirty sewers of London there is a Breeding Ground...

The slugs have come hack... slowly... silently... they slither along dank, fetid tunnels into the city in search of human flesh. Their insatiable need knows no bounds.

But now they bring a new horror - a plague which spreads insanity and death, transforming its victims into grotesque, crazed killers.

Caught in this maelstrom of horror is Dr. Alan Finch - the only man capable of destroying the Breeding Ground forever.

They are back! breeding in the sewers under London they threaten to take over the capital and much more. This is a brilliantly written story with plenty of stomach turning gore, Yuck! Quite funny in places but edge of the seat listening from start to finish. An additional twist is an unidentified disease which is killing people adds to the tension. Definitely not for bedtime so leave plenty of time to finish it as you will want to get to the end and see what happens.. Highly recommended. Simon Aitchison's narration was second to none bringing the characters and whole story to life, well worth it's 5 star rating.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
