Challenge is inevitable. Defeat is not.
In the gripping finale of this cross-country post-apocalyptic odyssey, Ben and his crew traverse the desolate landscapes of a world ravaged by disaster, facing untold challenges, and forging unlikely alliances along the way.

As Ben and the others approach their final destination of Durango, Colorado, the group is tested yet again on their final push home, confronting the ghosts of their past and the harsh realities of a fractured world.

In a climactic showdown against the remnants of a once-civilized society turned ruthless, the bonds of family and the strength of the human spirit are pushed to their limits. The journey culminates in an unforgettable and heart-wrenching conclusion, where sacrifices are made, destinies are revealed, and the true meaning of survival is discovered.

In the shadows of a post-apocalyptic sunset, Ben, Sandy, and the kids grapple with the bittersweet reality of a new beginning forged from the ashes of the old world. The last leg of their journey is a testament to resilience, hope, and the enduring power of the human will in the face of an uncertain tomorrow.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the whole series, with a great performance. If you like post apocalypse books then I recommend this series.

this must be one if the best series I have listened to. I went on a journey across America, feeling for the family at every turn. just when you think they can take a break another situation occurs. it is a bit heavy on the vehicle and weapon specs, but I blocked that out after a while, but for someone interested they would find that captivating. all in all an excellent and exciting ride

Love this series, each book in the series is another part of the groups adventurous journey and what a journey it has been! You’ll be rooting for them at every turn and it gets quite dramatic in stages but when you sit back and think about it the scenarios actually are scarily possible. Definitely recommend this series if you like EMP genre stories.

Really enjoyed the 15 books! They were maybe aimed at the teen age group but still a great read for adults as well, its a real pity that there are no more books.
This was a free series and highly recommended, wish there was a continuation book!

Even though it was quite a good story, there was too much repetition and fluffing out the story with unnecessary detail. Also far too much information about guns and ammunition et cetera. I think the book or books should I say could’ve been edited down to half the length. Also it was getting a little bit ridiculous towards the end as they must’ve covered every different version of attack by different methods and modes of transport. I was just waiting for the horses to make an appearance! On balance so the view it gave of post apocalyptic life was really quite interesting.

Repitition!
