No man is Boon’s equal, no gun more lethal.
Boonsri Angchuan travels the trails, riding from town to town with her one and only friend, a portly Arkansan drunkard named Edward Splettstoesser. She has done nothing else for years, her only goal being revenge upon the one man who should have protected her but instead sold her and her mother into bondage. From Texas to the New Mexico Territory, from the filthy backstreets of San Francisco’s notorious Barbary Coast to the ghost town of a depleted placer mine, Boon and Edward navigate corrupt lawmen, hostile Kiowa, a mad judge, and countless gunmen aiming for their heads in Boon’s dogged pursuit of answers - and vengeance.

Eleştirmen yorumları
“Boon is a force!” (John Foster, author of The Isle)
“Kurtz's Boon is a potent example of what a modern western should be: Diverse, thrilling, and an honest romp through America's troubled past.” (Errick Nunnally, author of Lightning Wears a Red Cape and Blood for the Sun)
It's refreshing todays novels can still surprise me so well.
Bravo, to Mr. Ed Kurtz.
Joshua Saxon is one of my very favorite narrators, and is a superstar in his field...but, I have to honestly say, BOON has been my favorite performance of his, thus far.
His voice truly transports you back to a time long before audiobooks heard through smartphones and Bluetooth headphones could have been remotely thought of.
A must listen.
One of the BEST stories i ever did hear tale of.
